PageShotter Add to Chrome

These terms apply to your use of the PageShotter Chrome extension and the pageshotter.com website. By using PageShotter, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the extension or website.

What PageShotter provides

PageShotter is a browser tool for capturing webpages you choose as screenshot images or documents. The available features, technical limits and supported export formats may change as the product develops.

Experimental, beta or planned features may be changed, delayed or discontinued. A description of a planned feature on this website does not guarantee that the feature will be released.

Your responsibilities

You may use PageShotter only for lawful purposes. You are responsible for the pages you choose to capture, the resulting files, and how you store, share or publish them.

You must have the right or permission to access and capture the relevant content. PageShotter does not give you permission to copy copyrighted, confidential, personal or restricted material, and it must not be used to bypass authentication, paywalls, technical restrictions or other access controls.

Do not use PageShotter to violate another person’s rights, distribute unlawful material, interfere with a website or service, or attempt to compromise the extension, website or other systems.

Ownership

PageShotter and its original software, website content, branding and design are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These terms allow you to use the product; they do not transfer ownership of PageShotter to you.

You retain whatever rights you already have in screenshots you create, subject to the rights of the owners of the captured content and applicable law.

Privacy

The PageShotter Privacy Policy explains how the extension, website and support channel handle information. Screenshot pixels and webpage contents are processed locally by the current extension and are not uploaded to PageShotter.

Third-party services and content

PageShotter runs in Chrome and may capture websites operated by other people or organizations. Those products and pages are governed by their own terms and policies. PageShotter does not control or endorse third-party content merely because the extension can capture it or this website links to it.

Availability and disclaimers

PageShotter is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

Webpages and browser behavior vary, so we do not promise that every page will capture completely or without visual differences. You should review important captures before relying on or distributing them.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PageShotter and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of data, revenue, profits or business opportunities arising from use of or inability to use PageShotter.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

Suspension and changes

We may restrict access to the website or discontinue features when reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, maintenance or product changes.

We may update these terms. Material changes will be published on this page with a revised effective date. Continuing to use PageShotter after updated terms take effect means you accept the revised terms.
